Finding an ice cream alternative that’s completely dairy free and melts in your mouth like traditional ice cream feels almost magical but that’s exactly what this place delivers. The texture is unbelievably smooth, creamy, and rich without feeling heavy. You’d never guess it’s made from cashews unless someone told you! I picked two flavors and they were both absolute standouts: Chocolate Cookie Crumble: Decadent, chocolatey, and packed with cookie goodness. Every bite had that perfect balance of creamy base and crunchy crumble. Caramel Almond Crunch: Sweet, buttery caramel vibes with the perfect almond crunch for texture. It was indulgent

Went there today because of the sign posted around the corner. 1000/10 Best ice cream ever . So many flavors and so convenient for my boyfriend that is very sensitive to dairy and gluten. I love knowing there is so many flavors he can choose from now! and was obsessed with all the flavors especially eggnog, peppermint chocolate , cookie chocolate and mint chocolate! the owner was so sweet to us, he welcomed us in and let us try los of flavors, he also gave us information on the ice creams and how they are all organic and healthy. will definitely be taking my family here and be coming here more often. Our new favorite ice cream shop!

It was my first time visit this location. I love that there one in Walnut Creek and I hope they continue to expand. This time, I got a pint of banana nut and chocolate mint and a single cake cone of vanilla bean. Of course, they were delicious, the cashier was super talkative and friendly. I'll definitely come back!

Nutritionist approved!! Mr. Dewey’s Cashew Ice Cream is hands down the BEST ice cream I’ve ever had! The flavors are rich, creamy, and unique! You’d never know it’s dairy-free. I love that they’re now located right in downtown Walnut Creek, which makes it so easy to stop by whenever I’m craving a treat. On top of the incredible ice cream, the people who work there make the experience even better. Sean and the whole team are so kind, fun, and welcoming…you always leave with a smile. Their wide range of flavors means there’s truly something for everyone, and every scoop tastes like it’s made with love. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. I cannot recommend Mr. Dewey’s enough!!! 🍨💛
