Customer Reviews
I have been eating here for many years. It is dependable good food at a good price. The lunch menu is a nice variety and portioned to leave you full, but not bloated. While you are there, be sure to browse the market. This is my favorite place for ramen noodles because of the huge variety. Good noodles, not the waxy, cheapo's from a discount store. I cook with mushrooms often and they have multiple shelves of dried shrooms to choose from. It's impressive for Tuscaloosa. They have a huge variety of sake and wines priced below chain grocery stores. Their snack isles (yes, plural) change up based on what they ship in. Maybe we're all lame, but my friends like it when I break out something a bit more exotic than ice cream or Krispy Kreme donuts. One entire wall, plus much of the front w
Great dinner! Has a little market attached to the restaurant, and that was fun to look through after dinner. Reasonable prices, and some great deals at lunch time. Loved the Sesame Chicken! My wife got the sweet and sour chicken and loved it too.
There was not a wait at 11a on a Sunday. The server was friendly and helpful and the place was clean. I had the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The food was just average. The fried rice didn’t have a whole lot of flavor to me and was more sweet than anything else. The chicken and sweet and sour sauce had a good flavor. My husband had the orange chicken and enjoyed it. I did not like the egg roll. I would try something else next time. It was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Tuscaloosa. Compared to other Chinese restaurants across the country about average. Good food, but not great. Portions are reasonable. Always a crowded choice which is a good sign. Interesting Asian market on the side is fun to go through and shop. Staff are generally attentive and friendly.
As far as Chinese rice is concerned, the food is absolutely and totally TASTELESS. So Bland!!! Tell me why I am paying almost $15 for an order of shrimp fried rice??? If it tasted good, I wouldn't complain. I honestly wish I could give 0 stars!!! I'm so pissed that we git 2 orders and wasted almost $30!!!!
