After my friend recommended this spot, I figured why not try somewhere new? I’m so glad I did because this will be my go to spot in Tuscaloosa now! Not only is their menu diverse, but it’s very affordable. The quality of sushi was remarkable and the sushi chef behind the counter was so helpful and kind. Will definitely be returning!

I came and ordered a drink (Boba) before going to Depalmas for dinner and the service was IMPECCABLE, they treated me like royalty! There was a drink I was recommended that I didn’t like and the lady behind the counter remade it for me, free of charge, these people will take care of you! I went to Depalmas and they wouldn’t even serve us bc we were black, but this place handled me with care! Black/Bi-racial friendly! No matter your skin color this place will serve you happily!

I love their lunch special where you can get 2 rolls with your choice of soup, salad, or crab rangoon for less than $15!

Awesome family owned business. Worth the wait (if there is one) because I know the owners are preparing my order themselves. I have been coming here for 15+ years. These guys know your name when you walk in and are excellent at what they do. I immediately come here when I arrive back in town and get the teppanyaki steak with a Tuscaloosa roll.

If you want good sushi, this is the best place I’ve found in town. The pace isn’t super big, but they work at a good pace. We ordered the crab Rangoon (which was fine but could be a bit more filled) which was brought to us by a robot 😂. We had four types of sushi: California, Louisiana, salmon and tuna. They were all very tasty and balanced, I haven’t had sushi this good in town. And their lunch special made it a pretty good deal! Would definitely recommend this place.
