I travel from coast to coast as a semi truck driver and I am always looking for good authentic food. This place is it! One of my favorites!! Called in my order, very professional, took an Uber, and everything I requested was on point!! Excellent service! Food was phenomenal, seasoned very well! I will order again when I am in this area. Thank you, job well done!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The service was outstanding, the “torta ahogada” sauce had a truly traditional flavor, and the whole place has an original and authentic essence. Highly recommended!

I usually go to Mexican Restaurants in Birmingham when I travel there 2-3 times per week.I was excited to have one open less than 1 mile from my home,but sadly I was so disappointed. The price was good,$18 for 3 steak tacos.I added extra toppings that made the price that much,but I was beyond disappointed .Every Mexican restaurant I have ever went to cooks their soft taco shells on the grill.This place served raw fresh out of the package taco shells.The taste of an uncooked flour taco shell is one of the most nastiest things I have ever eaten.I couldn't even chew nor swallow and completely lost my appetite. For that reason alone I won't go back.The seasoning and everything was ok ,but that shell is a big no.I spent $18 just to eat some chips and salsa that came with the tacos.

There is not a reason to go anywhere else in Tuscaloosa. The lengua tacos are a fantastic texture and taste, even when ordered to go.

This place has really great tasting food. I’d recommend the “tacos de asada” and “chicharrón “ any day. It’s a great mah & pah place. I have also tried other dishes on different occasions and I am never disappointed. Take it from a real Mexican guy that knows Mexican food. Give these folks a try and enjoy your next dinner the way it’s supposed to taste. Gracias mi gente…
