Definitely will return for more culinary exploration! Made a reservation for the high top. We got there a bit early so they weren't ready for us but no big deal. A bit cramped but also no biggie. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. Food was great! Moderate portions and pretty flavorful. Patatas (fancy name for the fries) were okay, but I did like the spicy tomato sauce. Mushroom labneh was very nice and almost tasted meaty, which was great! Corn muffins were nice and sweet. Crispy pork belly achieved that very real melt-in-your-mouth fatty goodness with the satisfying crunch of broiler work. The Parisian gnocchi and duck confit lasagnette were strangely the least flavorful of everything we got but still not bad, if you don't count the fried brioche (very lightly dusted with sweetn
I recently ate at Moxy, and the food was so good. It's one of the best places I've been to in a while. What's cool is that all the plates are small and meant for sharing, so you can try a lot of different stuff. The steak was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. It was tender and juicy, just how I like it. My favorite part was the fried cauliflower. It was not battered at all, just cooked until it was super crispy. It tasted so good, and the sauce that came with it was awesome. I could have eaten a whole plate of it myself! I had a great time at Moxy. The food was delicious, and I would definitely go back. You should try it!
Came here on the first night of restaurant week. It was a good time, I wish they had their normal menu, but that was our fault. The ambiance is quite nice and it was PACKED. The food was okay. The tuna tartare was not flavourful, the pork belly was decent, and the meatballs were a bit dry. The vegetarian dishes were actually better. The corn chowder did need salt, the squash was nice, and the mushroom gnocchi was actually very good. The drinks were alright, the o captain was actually good. The churros were BAD. It was basically a chip. Not a fan.
Emma was very attentive and even apologized for the small delay it took for the Gnocchi to arrive. Her service was greatly appreciated. Every plate was a wonder of taste and both cocktails I ordered were excellent. Highly recommended.
American style tapas (small plates) - not a knock by any means - just prepare for that when you choose this spot. Great way to experiment and explore the menu. Beyond the food, well crafted cocktails in a trendy spot. Good vibes for sure
