Cheese Louise Portsmouth

Perfect day for comfort food. I stopped in for a soup and sandwich but they only had tomato soup, which I'm not a fan of. Brady encouraged me to try it and gave me a sample. It wascreamy, with herbs and parmesan, and absolutely delicious for dipping my bacon grilled cheeseinto. And Brady delivered it to my table. And- their lemonade is made with maple syrup! So glad I stopped in and tried something new!.

Very Friendly stuff, Josh was our guy. Cute atmosphere. Basic selection sandwiches, the least tasty grill cheese I had so far. Worth visiting if you are passing by Portsmouth area. Super overpriced. I wouldn’t go back.

It’s my first time here and I really loved the atmosphere, friendly service from Rowan. And the food was super yummy especially for a cold day or comfort food. Will definitely come again.

Incredible time at Cheese Louise! Josh was amazing as others have duly noted. Tried the godmother which was incredible with tomato soup! Yummy! We also had the Gobble Gobbler with a ceasar salad! Absolutely mouth watering and one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

I arrived just a minute before closing, yet the staff welcomed me with genuine kindness and didn’t hesitate to serve me. She prepared a succulent sandwich and a comforting tomato soup that completely hit the spot. The food was absolutely delicious, but what really stood out was the amazing customer service — friendly, patient, and truly above and beyond. I’m genuinely amazed by the experience and will definitely be coming back just for that combination of great food and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!
