Honey Ham and Subs

I was skeptical to come to this place the first time. Wasn't sure if I was in the mood for a sandwich, but my wife was. Boy oh boy, were we happy we did. The ingredients themselves were nothing fancy, definitely several steps in quality above subway. Bread was warm and fresh, and the ratio of ingredients was great. Every bite was delicious. Also I kid you not when I say the sandwiches were ready about 1 minute after we ordered. Genuinely not sure how they made them that fast. No complaints!

Small sub shop with 2 small tables for eating in as it’s really meant for ‘To Go’/pickup orders. Subs are one size only ~10”. Mostly cold subs with some hot subs available. Soup is limited currently to chicken noodle in spring/summer with corn & clam chowders in the fall/winter. Ordered the House Club sub which is good though on the thin side. Nothing big, generous or fancy. Prices ~$12~$16 depending on what you order.

Best subs in Portsmouth! Everytime I go here Jorge makes the subs to look like a work of art he takes great pride in his store and it shows. I've been coming here for almost 20 years and will continue to be a loyal customer! I always order the chicken salad and my wife gets the Sante fe club

Nothing beats a classic deli, and this staple hole-in-the-wall sandwich maker and ham dealer is no exception. Ordered the Honey Bee Club to tide myself over between appointments, and it quickly became the main attraction, and not just because it came out fast! The cuts were fantastically thin and plentiful, the condiment ratio perfectly balanced, and the bread hot and fresh. Couldn't ask for more, 10/10!
