Mountain Mike's Pizza

So glad we stopped in. The place was immaculate. The service was great and the pizza was delicious. I thought this was such a great family spot. There was a coloring station for the littles as well as a two top table set up with a chess set and another table with games to keep the kids or anyone entertained! The large screen tv set to a sports channel. It was very inviting, welcoming. A place to hang out! We’ll be back for sure!

Genuinely disappointed because i spent my money to get dinner for my family, so why is there plastic rubber bands in my pizza. I also seen an employee clearly touching the pepperoni’s with her bare hands. Disgusting.

I often drive to and through Sonora and finding food that everyone agrees on is hard. As we were arguing with the kids about what to eat, we pulled up to Mountain Mike's at lunch time for a buffet. Was greeted by Andrew and while there wasn't a big selection of pizza ready to feast on, he asked if there was any toppings that we would like to be made. Surely, kids wanted Hawaiian and we wanted the combo. After a few minutes of munching on some fantastic and clean salad from the salad bar along with a few slices of pizza that was bakes earlier, Andrew brought out the fresh pizza's along with one of the best bacon garlic bread ever. What allowed me to enjoy the salad was the packets of Ken's dressing. Must have been the cleanest and freshest salad bar I've ever seen from a pizza buffet bar. T

I was told the wait time would be 25 minutes, but it took longer than expected. When my pizza was finally brought out, it was in a takeout box even though I had said I was dining in, and they told me they forgot. There was a hair on my pizza, which was very unpleasant. I ordered and was charged for extra mushrooms, but there were barely any on the pizza, and the price was not worth it. The dining room was dirty, and there was no salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, or pepper flakes on the table. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Mountain Mike’s with the new management.

When you first walk in you can obviously tell this is not one of the LOVED mountain mikes. We actually almost left based on the dim atmosphere. Angela changed that for us with her hospitality and delicious pizza. She's a sweetie! Only stayed and gave it a chance because of her.
