Sergio’s Taqueria and Catering

You can’t be blamed for not knowing this place serves great Mexican food as all the signage says “Sunshine Station” with the tagline “best darn dogs in the state”. Branding aside, you will find AMAZING taqueria food here. We ordered Al pastor, and chile verde burritos. The Al pastor was top tier, however, the chile verde was one of the best I have ever had. You could taste that the tomatillo sauce was cooked in house, not store bought and the pork was fresh. Salsa bar was fresh and stocked with all the staples. Pico de gallo was firm, and the sauces all had tremendous flavor and respectable heat. All of this and The price is right. Big draw back is that there are no tables, all bar style stools, so not ideal seating for a group. If they put some tables outside with umbrellas, I think that

This place, hands down, is the best Mexican food in town. I bought all the tamales they had with sides of rice and beans. The tamales were just how my Naňa had made them. Masa is great, loaded with pork and sauce. Very authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend 👌

Sergio suggested he wrap up my plate of Chile Verde leftovers into a burrito for our trip to the snow and when I finished it off a couple hours later it was even than before! Thank you Sergio my family and I appreciate you! Not to mention the Mexican hot chocolate (atole) it was perfect! We will be back!

Delightful and yummy experience! I had a Huge carnitas burrito 🌯 I could only eat 1/2, so lunch tomorrow as well! The salsa bar was fantastic! Very friendly place! I'll definitely be going back!
