Mountain Lyon Cafe

First time in Colorado and this place didn't diappoint. Our orders came after 5 minutes and all our customizations were on point! French toast and potatoes are so good! Highly recommend!

It was a short visit as I was with a client who had a problem chewing (a tooth problem, not the food). Despite that she thought it tasted great and took it home. I got a turkey club and the homemade chips. Absolutely delicious albeit a little saltier than I should have, but it's a splurge day for lunch. I'm definitely going to have to peruse the menu more thoroughly for diabetic and low sodium options, but would absolutely return.

Stop here for breakfast on our road trip. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere is nothing fancy but the service was fantastic and they food was very good. The potato O'Brien were the best side potatoes! Make sure you get those if you like onions and green peppers. I tried the Colorado Cakes, what a surprise! Three pancakes-bottom pancake was blueberry and it was loaded with delicious berries, next was the banana filled with tasty bananas and the top pancake was their Swiss Cake filled with apples and nuts topped with swiss cheese. I didn't know whether to eat them one at a time or a bite of each. Since I am diabetic it was nice I could enjoy these pancakes without syrup. So many choices, you will not be disappointed.

Great diner style cafe. The food and service were great both for our breakfast and lunch visit. Generous portions with endless hot coffee refills. You can walk right in and pick a seat. Mostly booth seating.

Stopped in here for breakfast after a hike in the area. It got fairly busy for a Monday morning around 9am. Loved the option to just pick an open table, and a server was right there once I sat down. Homemade corned beef hash - a must, 10/10 Pancake: 10/10, exactly what you'd expect and very fluffy. Syrup already on the table so no need to ask for it. Hash browns: 6/10, not for me. They had green onion, red onions, and tomato as topping, which I don't believe was said on the menu. Personally not a fan of toppings with hash browns. Overall, would definitely come back. Service was outstanding and definitely felt more like a team effort from the servers than a specific person, which was a nice touch!
