Mount Kisco Public Library

Mount Kisco library was chartered in 1910. It's located next door to the Village Hall. The library was large and organized; like all libraries, it's a great resource for the community. My family and I were in the area so we stopped by this library. The children's section was lovely with many toys and books. My kids really enjoyed playing with the toys and reading the books. The area was spacious and clean. I looked on their website and there are many fun events that happens there. Overall, another nice library to visit.

Great library! Can basically find any book I want or can order it with an expected arrival date of 2-3 days. However, the children’s programs could use some upgrades. The other local libraries (pound ridge and chappaqua) offer a variety of music classes which my son really enjoys. We are residents of Mount Kisco and would love to use our local facilities. The music classes at the other libraries fill up quickly and require planning for travel. We’d love to stay in our town and to see some fresh talent at our library.

It's a great library because people who work there really care! Lots of good programs and museum passes!

Loved it. Great staff, wonderful accomodations, and a huge enormous selection to choose from available in a multitude of mediums. Massive lecture space upstairs too. Always ready for some learning!

Fantastic library. Great selection of new books! Really nice variety of programs. I took my niece to the summer reading opener with the animals. She also loves Read to Rover on Thursdays. I've been to the monthly art exhibits, worth checking out. I just learned that they have a knitting club, so I can not wait to attend, I was actually going to their site to look into it, when this option to review popped up! Such a great community and the librarians here are all really nice and helpful. I come here because of that instead the to the library near my home. I feel like there is more thought and effort involved into making it a community fun place, instead of just a place to check out books. You can't keep a book, as I read in another review, because their 2 day reminder email makes
