MOTW Coffee and Pastries

I had an amazing experience at MOTW Coffee and Pastries! We live in Madison, so we took the opportunity and ordered a lot! Their specialty lattes are simply incredible, especially the Pistachio, Spanish, and Biscoff latte. I could not get enough of the Strawberry Matcha iced drink, it’s out of this world! The food is just as fantastic! The Arabic pastries, savory empanada, and the Dubai Chocolate Cake & Croissants are all delicious. And don’t miss the viral Trompe-l'œil French pastries, I tried the mango and banana flavors, and I’m absolutely addicted! The atmosphere is bright and elegant, with beautiful decor and murals everywhere. They even have a separate prayer room, which makes it an ideal spot for community gatherings. The best part? This coffee shop is out of this world, I was told the espresso was good, but I tell you what it is amazingly delicious. This place has been open for almost 8 months and serve some of the best coffees and pastries. It is very clean, the customer service is excellent. It is on the corn of Rawson and 27th in Milwaukee Wisconsin. You most definitely want to stop here for your cup of joe

Went for the first time today. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive and will 100% return. We ordered 2 mocha lattes , the mango fruit shaped pastry, a piece of baklava, and this pistachio and rose tea cup mousse thing. First the coffee- perfect temp. Not too hot to drink right away, but not so cool that it goes cold in minutes. Not overly sweet but not bitter. Creamy and delicious Mango pastry- beautifully presented. Creamy, great texture. I do wish the fruit filling tasted more like fresh mango but it was delicious either way. Baklava had great texture , not soggy like some places. The phyllo retained it's crisp texture on top well. First time and already hooked! Great vibes, even better coffee. They have a variety of pastries as well, and are especially know for their fruit pastries (which are delivered fresh every other day). We went with a pumpkin spice white mocha latte, an iced biscoff latte, and a passion fruit pastry. Definitely adding this spot to the rotation!

This coffee shop is absolutely beautiful inside - so I had high hopes. The service was great. However, the food didn’t live up to the ambiance. We got the viral fruit desserts, which were ok (maybe because they were a day or two old) & the coffee was super sweet. We are planning on making a repeat stop in a month.
