Morgan's Restaurant at the Interlaken Inn

Brianna (bartender/server) was very nice, always asking if we need another drink, good ambiance, food was really tasty.

Delicious food, gracious service. I had the sprouts salad, which was delicious and generous; and schnitzel, which was great. Lacking a little in atmosphere, I’d say, but nothing that softer lighting and suave music wouldn’t fix.

My wife and I have been here 3 times for their Thanksgiving Buffet. Not likely to ever cook another Thanksgiving meal at home!! Fabulous service and food. We must visit during their regular business hours and try the normal menu.

I'm not normally inclined to write reviews... But this place defined "Hotel Restaurant". Prices are exceedingly high. I ordered the special which was a New England Clam Bake... It was $42 so my expectations were high. The lobster was black on top and very chewy. The clams were laughable, very small, and a few were completely empty. My fiancee had the veggie buger which was pretty solid and normally priced. Beers were $9... but after we spoke with the staff, all of whom were very friendly, beers were free... So that kind of made up for it! Maybe growing up in NE ruined future experiences with lobster and clams... Or maybe they simply mispriced this special. $24 would be appropriate...

In town from Chicago and we had dinner at Morgan's twice. Outstanding meals and service. Absolutely the highlight of our stay at Interlaken Inn. Not sure how the sparse staff pulls it off, but they do with an abundance of grace and professionalism.
