Morgan House Inn & Restaurant

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you—in the best way. It feels like stepping into a classic tavern, warm and inviting. We were seated in the bar area, which was beautifully done and comfortable. Our server was excellent: quick, efficient, friendly, and patient. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was flavorful and well-seasoned. My only small critique is that it was served with tortilla chips; I personally think pita or crostini would pair better—but the dip itself was spot on. For my entrée, I had the pot roast. Let me tell you—this is not your mom’s pot roast (sorry, Mom). The meat was incredibly tender, easily cut with just a fork, and the sauce had great balance without being overly salty or heavy. Incredible dinner and great service! We were visiting the area and heard second hand about the Morgan House and decided to give it a try. What a gem! The food is fantastic and the service was excellent. I have to believe this is where locals come to dine.

My sister and I had our Thanksgiving at the Morgan House. I just want to say both of our meals were delicious. We enjoyed it very much. So glad we decided to have our Thanksgiving at the Morgan House. Our server was very friendly, not sure what her name was, but she made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend the Morgan House to those who have not yet dined. Your are in for a great experience. Thank you for a great meal!!!!!

Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is 1800's Inn. We sat at the bar, but they have two very nice dining rooms also. I had the Grilled Chicken BLT. About a five ounce chicken fillet with high quality crispy bacon on a ciabotta roll with well done house cut fries. Very good. The wife had the Fried Fish Fillet sandwich and stated that it was a high quality fillet and prepared properly. Their menu is a typical pub or tavern menu without any real surprises. They offer a balanced list of six draught beers , but none of them have an ABV over 6%.

Love Morgan House. Great food, and atmosphere. It's like the cozy old fashion inn where the locals go. And if you are fortunate enough to go on Fruday evenings you'll hear the love Joey Palaramo singing. Wonderful!
