Moran's Dockside

My son Jason, and I stopped in for some tackle. Great bunch of guys in there very friendly and super helpful/knowledgeable. They told us what to use. An hour later, my son hooked up to a nice Bluefish We are loyal customers!!

Me and my friend went here during the summer and the service was exceptional !!! They gave us free bait because we used the secret code word , "freaky flounder " and we came dressed as flounders !!! our friend worker over there , tim, gave us 30 free mackereals , and said not to tell Pete . great experience overall would definitely recommend

Nice place for a quick lunch. Italian hoagie was excellent. Friendly staff. Also a well stocked and convenient bait shop. I'll definitely be stopping by when fishing in Avalon.

Moran’s Dockside was the perfect spot to kick off our adventure in Avalon! The service was outstanding—genuine, friendly, and welcoming. The owner and his team made us feel right at home. My boyfriend and I split the Italian hoagie and enjoyed it on the patio, which had a beautiful view. The sandwich was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better. After our meal, the owner personally came over to thank us for stopping by, which was such a nice touch. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for such a great experience!

Super helpful. Needed to grab a net and paracord for crabbing as well as a few frozen bunker. Store was neat and organized. Although I miss Smugglers in SH, Moran’s fit the bill!
