Moonrise Bagels Kingston

When my wife suggested this, I wasn’t so sure about the stuffed bagel, but I was proven very very wrong. First service was excellent, the two ladies working were very friendly and suggested sauces we might like with our bagels. We ordered a Reuben bagel and the buffalo chicken bagel and split them between us. We got ranch sauce for the buffalo chicken and an aïoli sauce for the Reuben. They were both really delicious. The bagel was soft and warm with lots of everything seasoning on it. Parking was easy, although I hadn’t parked in an area of Kingston that has the bike lane between your car and the sidewalk so that was a little weird for me but obviously had nothing to do with the bagel shop. This place is a must. The bagels themselves are soft and delicious, and the stuffing only makes it better. I got pizza stuffing and was one of the best things I ever had. Take this with a grain of salt because I am not a food critic or connoisseur but I loved it. Also the girl working there was very nice and friendly! And the store is cute as well. I arrived just before closing and my partner was waiting for an X-ray at the hospital. They were all sold out and I kindly explained the situation to the lovely bagel helper. And they so graciously came back with one stuffed bagel and said I hope he gets better soon. My partner loved the bagel and we can't wait to come back earlier next time and give a big tip.

Went here for the first time ever for breakfast on my birthday. My birthday present to myself was going here again for dinner. Happy birthday to me! Loved it.

Moonrise Bagels' Kingston NY location is located within a little blue building on Broadway. It's pretty cute. Because of the size of the place, it is limited to take out only. Moonrise's claim to fame is their stuffed bagel. I'll attach a picture because it's easier to show rather than explain it. It must have taken quite a long time to figure out the boil/bake time for this creation. They have succeeded; it works. The bagel is thoroughly cooked and the contents, in my case, scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese, were heated through but not overdone.
