Stopped in tonight on our way through town. Was there a few years ago and enjoyed ourselves. Tonight was even better. The bartender was absolutely amazing. Made us feel welcomed, was an absolute blast to talk with. The beers were great ( the seltzers were the ones from Ombibulous in EC, I was excited to have you in town, sad that didn't work out!!) wish you were closer, it would become a regular stop for me.
We go to Cornell to visist my mother in the nursing home almost every weekend. We usually bring lunch, but wanted to try something new. After digging my car out the snow for 2 hours, I wanted a drink. :) We stopped in here, and were greeted by the nicest young lady. The bloody mary was excellent! We stayed for lunch and were not disappointed. The pizzas were hand made and delicious! Takes a little longer since they are hand made but well worth it. The two employees we saw appeared to be teenagers, but I could be wrong. They were both so friendly and provided the best customer service. Excellent prices and just a really great atmosphere. Highly recommended. We'll be back!
I traveled up from Chippewa to visit today. It is a great place! Well, worth a trip from Eau Claire. The ambience is perfect for a northern brew pub! It was the most pleasant couple of hours I have enjoyed in several months. We found their brews to be tasty and eclectic — Something to please everyone here. The pizza is a real surprise! They use spent grain in their pizza crust, which makes them more substantial and crunchy. Also, they have many unusual flavors, which you will not get at a normal place. We had the Hot Chicken Alfredo, Big Kahuna (My favorite), and the Reuben. They were all great and I will get them again and try some others! The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Generous samples. One of the owners stopped by. The owners are veterans and also own Ombibulous in
It was fine, kind of dead. Beer was pretty good. If i was in the area, i would certainly stop again. They had the most comfortable bar chairs I have ever experienced.
The homemade pizza's are incredible! The owners are very welcoming and helpful, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. The beer flight was good but we weren't a big fan of the seltzer flight. Highly recommended!
