Really enjoyed our dinner at this new Thai spot in Greenwich village. First, the interiors are super cool, stylish and funky. There’s a cool mural on the back wall. The dishes had a combo of classic and more creative dishes. My fav was then Moo Puang starter. The pork was so flavorful and I also loved the sauce and eggplant dip that it came with. The escargot curry was also a standout and the perfect level of spice. We tried the durian crème brûlée for dessert, which actually had pieces of durian in it. If you’re a durian fan or curious about the taste, this is a must-try and quite unique. If you’re not into the flavor, you might want to skip it. I’m so glad I found this beautiful Thai restaurant in the city. I truly loved every dish we ordered. I couldn’t resist ordering my favorite, Tom Yum soup, and paired it with jasmine rice—it was perfect together. We ordered quite a lot of food, but we ended up finishing every dish. My friend’s favorite, the grilled squid, was especially good with the cilantro dipping sauce. We liked that it had a little kick of spice. The crispy duck was perfectly crunchy, and the pomelo added a nice, refreshing contrast. The fried chicken was also excellent, which tells me they really know how to fry their food well. This Thai restaurant has a cozy vibe since the dining area is a bit small. But the beautiful and colorful decor throughout the restaurant makes it so cute! I highly recommend dining with 3-4 to try various dishes. They have the Thai classics on the menu, but they also have really interesting other dishes I haven’t had at other Thai spots, and are more for the adventurous diners: including this marinated pork (moo puang) with an eggplant dip and an escargot in this rich curry sauce. Amazing Thai food! Went with a big party and was able to try so many dishes. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, perfectly balanced between sweet, spicy, and savory. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. My new go-to spot for Thai. I definitely recommend the crispy pork pad thai and their Hat Yai Chicken.
