Mood Food PDX

Heard about this food truck from a friend. They just updated their menu. I got the whiskey business and hot honey fries. My husband got southern comfort with truffle parm black pepper fries. My burger was outstanding. The hot honey drizzle on fries definitely needed more only had a few fries with it and those were good. The southern comfort had a lot of lettuce almost to much for my husband. The truffle parm black pepper fries were really good. Very friendly owners. Lots of variety of food. Definitely will try again.

I was greeted by the nicest people who helped me make a really tough decision on what to order (everything sounds incredible). I was also able to customize what I got! I ordered the Southern Comfort sandwich with fries. The sandwich was so good and lives up to its name. It’s truly comfort food. The fries are so crispy and are even better with the fry sauce. I will definitely be coming back and next time want to try a salad! Also, the prices are fantastic! Edit: I just ordered from DoorDash and holy crap. I thought the first sandwich I got from here was good (mentioned above), but The Cure is possibly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Adding bacon to it was the move, and I upgraded my fries to the truffle ones. I’m In absolute heaven right now.

I got the Fresh Start, and it was absolutely delicious, plus delightfully colorful! The French fries were nicely crispy, too. The portions were generous enough you could share a sandwich, but you won’t want to.

I got the Mediterranean fires with a side of fried chicken. It was AMAZING to say the least, the chicken is actually seasoned 😭. All the flavors came together perfectly. I’ll definitely come back to try more of the menu. Also… the portions are well served.

This was THE BEST burger we’ve had in years! It was obviously made to order and crafted perfectly so that the flavors perfectly complimented each other. The two that was working as cashier and cook (I believe) were the owners and they were SO kind and welcoming! The side winder fries… I am not exaggerating, they were so crispy and were seasoned perfectly. The sauces were also so freaking good. Drinks were canned sodas and they have a pretty good selection. I even asked if I could sample their new chili beans and he came out to give us a cup with melted cheese - he did not have to and he did! THEY WERE AWESOME! Great experience on all fronts. We will definitely be going back.
