Montville Township Public Library

The Library's post and beam construction creates a warm cozy atmosphere, perfect for getting lost in the rows and rows of books. Just outside the Library, the adjacent undeveloped (but maintained) field leading to the amphitheater is gorgeous and should not be missed, especially in the warmer months!

A true gem in the area. I loved to study here during my college years, and I appreciate it even more now that I have children. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, creating a warm environment for all visitors. A special shoutout to Ms. Jolie, who makes story time engaging and enjoyable for the little ones. There is a wide variety of toddler activities, as well as opportunities for adult learning and social events, making this an ideal place for individuals of all ages.

Friendly staff and well maintained library. Very peaceful and silent aas how a library should be. Very child friendly. The computers are very well maintained and self checkout counters save a lot of time.

Was publicly humiliated by one of the volunteers at their last book sale. They now have signs saying ‘limit of two bags for book dealers- including couples’’. So only one bag each for my husband and I. I assume that was mostly intended for Amazon scanners, in which case just ban them entirely as many sales are doing. (And I wish all sales would. ) Because I ONCE talked to this volunteer about how I hoped/planned to open a bookstore in my town, she decided it was appropriate to yell at me from across the room about how I could only take two bags. And the. Yell again that it was two only for me and my husband to share. She then made comments about me to other patrons, one of whom then decided to make snide comments about how the sale should be for Montville residents only. I’ve been going t

Very friendly staff, great selection of books for kids and adults, blu-rays and DVDs, board games, video games. Very relaxing and peaceful and clean facilities, very conducive for reading or studying or even doing focused work. They also offer a lot of free programs like summer reading program and ice cream day for kids and movies for groups to watch. Wonderful place
