Mondoz Z and Z pizzeria

I am so disappointed to be writing this review. We've been regular costumers are Mondoz Z and Z for two years and this experience has completely put us off. Tonight we ordered a chicken parm sub, a medium Hawaiian pizza and mozzarella sticks over the phone and were told it would be ready in 30 mins. The quality at Mondoz has been slipping for some time but at this point is almost unrecognizable. The problems started from the moment we drove up to pick up our food. The parking lot was packed and the restaurant was packed with a large group of people developing a menu for yet another restaurant that would be in this location (there are already 2 Mondoz and Biryani place). Best halal pizza spot in the New England area and some of the best you’ll find on the east coast. The owner is Palestinian and super friendly! There is a good amount of clean seating space and clean bathrooms. Great operating hours as well (open late night) Our go-to order is a buffalo chicken pie with beef bacon added on. The dough is the perfect combination of crisp and doughiness. The buffalo chicken has a great crisp and flavor, and the cheese is quality. The meat is verbally verified halal. For those looking for hand-slaughtered chicken, it is available upon request otherwise they usually use machine slaughtered chicken from restaurant depot. Overall, this is a must hit if visiting RI. Wood oven pizza! Yummy! Fresh ingredients wonderfully made! My kids gave it a 10/10! Tried the steak and cheese sub, most tender steak & cheese I've ever had! Soo good! The steak practically melted in my mouth. When I called to order I spoke to the owner who personally delivered the order to my home. Such a genuinely nice man who loves what he does and it shows with his food. Will most definitely order from here moving forward.

Incredible Halal Pizza spot! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken, pepperoni, or chicken bacon ranch. Available by slice or full pies. Very fresh. Hand slaughtered halal chicken is available upon special request if you ask ahead of time. Solid amount of sit down space

Very good pizza. I would just suggest a little less cheese and cook another couple minutes and it'll be perfect!!! Love the crust
