Molly's Hand-Dipped Ice Cream & Molly's Playhouse

This place is cool. They serve Hershey's ice cream, hand dipped in either sugar cones, waffle cones, waffle bowl, or in a cup. They make sundaes, shakes, rootbeer floats, and more. The seating area is rather small, but clean and cozy, or you can play table tennis in the back. They often have events here as well, with live music and various events. Barbour county and Philippi both has seen a decline in small businesses in recent years so it's nice to see one still here.

Molly's Ice Cream is the cutest little spot in Phillippi WV!! Some coworkers and I stopped on our way back through town. I'm going to make the trip back with my dog! Such a nice little place with the best service and homemade waffle cones! Free pup cups!

If I had known the size of the scoops I was going to get I may have stopped at one. But I'm probably lying to myself about that. Great little place at a great price in a small town I just happened to be passing through. Featuring Hershey's ice cream. 15 or 20 flavors to choose from and many seemed different than many other stores. Homemade waffle cone and large scoops. Five bucks for a double dip waffle cone is unbelievable. I actually rerouted my way home to stop here again but found they were closed on Mondays.

Molly’s is a fun little place to get Hershey’s ice cream in downtown Phillippi. Hershey’s is always good, and they offer a respectable assortment of flavors, as well as a couple no sugar added varieties and a some signs indicating which ones are gluten free. Insulated steel containers are available if you want to take some ice cream home. They also have a fun room for rent in the back if you’re having an event. Everything is very reasonably priced.

Icecream was so so so delicious and cheap. Not only was it not expensive, they gave you your money's worth. I got a 2 scoop waffle cone for $4 dollars and could barely finish it. Also a very fun place to just hang out with family or friends. Highly highly recommend!!!!
