Came for restaurant week 2026 - prix fixe dinner ($45 per person). Overall, food was just okay, and portions were small. Also the food took so long to come out :/ Not worth - Scallop ceviche: 6/10, wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce - Yellowtail crudo: 8/10, better than the scallop ceviche, and the sauce was yummy. The orange slices were interesting lol - Corn dumpling: 9/10, solid! Really enjoyed the corn flavor. Creamy corn filling - no kernels. Def get this! - Wagyu oxtail spring roll: 8/10, solid flavor - Octopus skewer: 7/10, octopus was tender and flavorful, but didn’t like the potatoes in the skewers. Also a little salty - Berkshire rib: 9/10, solid tender and flavorful. Def get this! - Fried rice w/ lobster: 6/10, meh - Injeolmi mousse: 9/10, very creamy and chocolatey! Def get
Chefs at Mokyo know what they are doing. I never had Korean tapas before but I am a huge fan now. While I am not Korean, I usually hold Korean food to a high standard because I grew up in a Korean neighborhood and many of my friends were Korean, so I was constantly surrounded by — and eating — authentic cuisine. While this spot isn’t traditional, it’s absolutely worth trying. The food and service are both incredible. This place is super impressive and makes for a great experience, especially for a date night or a dinner with a friend. I wouldn’t recommend it for parties larger than two, though, since the dish portions are on the smaller side. We started with the yuzu strawberry and golden punch mocktails, which were served in adult Capri Sun-style pouches — such a fun touch! For dinner,
The food was absolutely delicious and super unique! If I had to recommend any dishes it would have be the noodles & lobster rolls. The noodles were super savory and really chewy + the lobster rolls were super yummy and soft. The layout was also very detail oriented and created a really intimate atmosphere. Lastly, the mocktails were delicious/pretty and the packaging was extremely creative! They came in plastic bags with a small light inside. Not only was the food amazing but I got so many materials for my junk journaling. The restaurant’s brand is minimalist and perfect for anyone who loves to journal!
Excellent experience during the NYC restaurant week ! We had the 45$ menu and I must say every dish was a delight ! I highly recommend the scallops, the dumplings, the ribs and the best for last the PUDDING ! Also, the service was excellent and the restaurant is super cute (and animated)
we got the dumplings, lobster roll, scallops and cauliflower. all were amazing. dumplings were a highlight. good date spot or sharing with a group.
