We couldn’t pass up the self proclaimed “world’s best barbecue”, since we’ve eaten barbecue all across Texas, USA and the world. The brisket and ribs were good home-style cooking. My foodie partner enjoyed the macaroni and said the potato salad tasted store-bought. The sauce was on the thin and sweet side — more like something you’d stir into sweet tea than mop on ribs. We visited on a Sunday afternoon just before closing time, and the staff seemed eager for the day to end. Pro-tip - large cups do not fit in truck cupholders. Also, prices are subject to change without warning. There’s heart in what they’re doing, though, and with a few tweaks, it could really shine.
We stopped in while on vacation from Colorado looking for some Texas BBQ. I lived here for 25 years so I tend to be picky. Moe's is now one of my favorite BBQ places anywhere, easily. The brisket was moist and flavorful without being overly fatty, it just fell apart when picked up. I'm not usually a fan of sausage, but their pork sausage will definitely have me coming back, cooked with a crispy skin and beautifully textured and seasoned. The ribs were peppery with a touch of sweetness and just slid off the bone. Finally we got the brisket mac and cheese, and were impressed with it as well. The mac and cheese itself was basic, nothing special but good nonetheless, and it had a perfectly proportioned amount of brisket and sauce and cheese on top that made every bite a treat. I prefer a swe
Brisket is pretty dry. Ribs are slightly like jerky. It's got good flavor. Best thing on the plate is the mac and cheese. On the menu it clearly states two meats with two sides for 21.99 they charge me 31 and some change. They were very unfriendly and they gave me two napkins with my to-go order. I won't go back nor suggest it
Hands down best brisket baked potatoes and loaded fries! The portions are HUGE and so delicious! Definitely a hidden gem, every time we visit Somerville or even drive through we stop for some bbq.
Brisket was horrible and the sauce was sweet. I was very disappointed because I came once before and it was amazing however it’s disgusting and was a lot of grisol and fat. I was shown a big piece of brisket however it wasn’t cut was given something else.
