We ordered a case of the decaf after hearing a story about Modest Coffee on the local news. It is fabulous! It is the smoothest most flavorful decaffeinated coffee we’ve ever had and highly recommend.

I picked up a bag of beans at Woodman’s based on the packaging. Wow, I’m hooked and have bought a couple more! A true resealable bag…you are so smart! Even if it’s a lil extra $, that is worth it for me. Googled Modest tonight and made me even happier to support them! Read about Marcus and Jenni and the girls, pets and the history. Very cool! Hopefully we cross paths in Aurora somehow since I’m also there! Nice work you two!

Ordered a case of “The Decaf”-it tastes wonderful. I’ve been caffeine-free for almost 6 years and have tried a smorgasbord of decaf coffees. This is one of the best I’ve tasted. We use it in our moka pot. Thrilled that they delivered (for free!!) to Cleveland. Grateful to help move some of the excess decaf product from the order overflow. My husband found out about the blunder (turned marketing success story!) online, and we decided to take a chance and order. So happy we did!

I love Modest Coffee! The location is not really a coffee shop but a tasting room for their locally roasted beans. The owners Jenni and Marcus are great people and very passionate about coffee. They are real aficionados and can answer your geekiest question about coffee. The tasting room is small but nice. There are an assortment of coffee accessories you can buy as well as Modest Coffee brand shirts and hats. I recommend calling ahead if you know what coffee you want so they'll have it ready for you. They keep everything so fresh that there is very little pre-bagged that you can buy. My favorite roast is the espresso because it is their darkest. You should definitely stop by for a tasting or buy Modest Coffee beans in stores or online.

I have a biweekly subscription to their collector coffee ☕. Excellent and consistent quality, never late. I used to drive over from Geneva to pick up a few packs every now and then, but subscription is definitely worth it. Better than any grocery store coffee I've had by far, and yes, absolutely by enough to justify price. Also affordable as far as Chicagoland goes.
