Mixteca Grill

World class Mexican dining in the Midwest! A classy atmosphere with friendly wait staff that lets you enjoy your meal. A wide range of choices including a seafood and a vegetarian selection. I had a Cheese and Mushrooms Quesadilla and the Shrimp Cocktail. Both were mouth watering and not too spicy. I look forward to stopping at Mixteca Grill next time I am in Liberal Kansas!

I want to start by saying our waitress was sweet, bless her heart. Our food was not great, it use to be really good. But where it got really bad was when we got our tickets. Food prices went up from what was on the menu. Not just a dollar, $3. My kids and I all got waters. We were on a tight budget just trying to spend time with family. Kids meals on the menu stated $6.99 without soft drinks. We got 3 kids meals and I got the Choripollo plate. My ticket was over $60… the response from another lady was that it wasn’t their fault and that you have to scan the QR code to get the updated prices. That’s something you tell people before they order, not when it’s time to pay. Very disappointing and we will not be back. I see why the business looks to be slowing down. The food was delicious, and the service was very nice and kind. and our waitress knew the menu so that way she could recommend us some food to order. I recommend 💯

Got a pina colada and it had absolutely zero alcohol. Never had a drink so skimped out on alcohol before. Also got the mixteca steak special. Probably one of the worst, unseasoned, unflavored steak I've ever had. It was insanely greasy and inedible. Their salsa is also very bland. Zero taste. Don't recommend.
