Mito Japanese Steakhouse

Nice addition to Rutland’s food options! The sushi was freshly rolled on-demand. The egg-rolls were the best we’ve had in a long time. Super flaky and delicious! The entrees were reasonably priced for the amount of food. Would probably want a larger side fried rice with the entree (amount of white rice was good for that entree). Waitress was very friendly and helpful! Note: they are still waiting on an alcohol license from the Town, but that’s small town stuff, not their fault.

First time ordering here figured try it out different food option in town I know it’s known for sushi and Japanese but giving there prices on the dinner combos you figured you get bigger quality might have to stick to my yang kitchen meals served in a 8x8 container full there are big and good for less price

When my mai tai came to the table pink I knew I was in trouble. It was a sour and awful. The food was over priced and lacked flavor. Needed better presentation on the pu pu platter for one. It wouldn’t hurt as bad paying $20 for it if it wasn’t just thrown on a plate. It’s too bad because I live right down the street and was excited about the prospect of having a go to Asian restaurant. But I won’t be back.

First experience dining at Mito. For starters, drinks where perfect, we didn't order appetizers this time, but this will not be our last time coming here for dinner. We ordered from the Japanese menu, and had the regular 7pc assorted sushi, which came with miso soup, and salad. Both were very good, especially the ginger dressing on the salad. Our other meal was the Hibachi Steak, which came with milo soup, and fried rice. The steak was cooked just as ordered. The service was excellent, promp, and very friendly. Having read all reviews prior to going, I have to agree with almost all of them. The not so favorable reviews I read, honestly, couldn't agree with with my experience. Will definitely be coming back, and suggesting to other, if they haven't yet, give it a try. Thumbs up.

Everything was so good and the ambience is so beautiful. This is exactly what we needed in Rutland. Food was 10/10 and every restaurant is unique in their own way. Absolutely would recommend to everyone to stop by and give it a try! I will say there is a 3% charge if you use card so cash is definitely preferred! Other than that everything is wonderful!
