Mitchell & Michaels Plat Du Jour

I really liked the place, the service was great! The drinks were the bomb! I really just wanted better fried catfish, and better macaroni and cheese. I would go back with friends for a drink.

The food was very flavorful. I tried multiple drinks & each one had a good hit to them which means they’re not watered down. The staff was very nice. They checked in on you like you were at your family’s house. It was def a good vibe here. I’ll def be a return customer. Looking forward to their live music nights & everything else they plan to offer.

This place was really nice. We went for my mother in laws birthday. There wasn't any live music though. They said it was coming soon, which wasn't a problem for us. The food came really fast. I got the smothered chicken with Mac n cheese and greens. The gravy was tasty. It was hot and good. The greens were great and tender. The oxtail was so tender it fell off the bone. It was seasoned well. The drinks were also good. The kids loved their food as well. Everyone left very full.

I want to give this place a 4.8 but can’t be that specific on here. My only few complaints was the wobbly table which can definitely easily be fixed, and the fried catfish was a little too fishy! The Greens and all the rest of our food and drinks were absolutely amazing! We definitely will be going back!

This is a very nice soul food restaurant. The owner Nikki ( I hope I spelled it right) was wonderful. The service, food and ambience were all top notch. I will definitely be back to try the other menus. Thanks my sista for bringing good food to the burbs.
