Mitaka Ramen

This is our fourth time eating at this place and this is the first bad experience with the food. We ordered the Miso Ramen, Katsu Chicken Buns and Edamame. I have ordered Edamame on multiple occasions before but after tonight’s order, it will be my last time and possibly the last time ordering at this place altogether. I was about 4 pods in when I noticed white things moving in one of the pods. I grabbed and it squirmed like a worm. I was so disgusted! 🤢 I immediately puked my food out. I threw the rest of the food because I did not trust what else I could find in the other food. I called the restaurant to give them the opportunity to be aware of the situation with the food and potentially avoid any other issues with someone that might not be as nice as me. I asked for the manager on duty

The broth is rich, the noodles are on point, and every bite just hits. Perfect place to chill, eat, and leave happy. Definitely coming back for another bowl!!! 🍜🔥

Always looking for great Asian restaurants. First time here so we went with a variety of dishes. Started with pork belly buns. These are served on soft, flat folded buns. The pork belly was thick and perfectly matched with the sauce. We tried two different Ramen bowls. The miso concentration made a statement, unlike some other miso ramens I’ve had that were too watery. The curry chicken tasted Indian style. And I got one of my favorite dishes, unagi don. The eel flaked apart easily and was delicious. The serving size was just a bit smaller than I would have expected for the price but with the accompanying seaweed salad and shaved squid accompaniments in the bowl adding variety of flavors and textures, I would definitely get it again. Don’t go here for a cheap meal, go here for a great one.

We stopped here after shopping at the outlets with our toddler who was “soooo hungry” and we all loved it. She especially loved all the collectors toys up as decor and her favorite was the robot bears in a little case. She loved her rice and noodles. My husband had the tomkatsu and pork buns. I had the edamame and miso ramen. Very delicious

We enjoyed our time at Mitaka Ramen. The food was good, and the atmosphere very quaint. The location is good, right by the outlets and the menu is fairly simple. Service was very quick and attentive. Our favorite items were the seaweed salad and the pork steamed buns.
