Contemporary Peruvian fusion spot with very attentive and friendly service and decent food. Our server was very friendly and helpful with good recommendations. We had the Peruvian paella and their version of a Caesar salad. Both were tasty and the portions were larger than expected. There was a lot of rice for the paella and a good amount of seafood. In our mind we do prefer the flavoring of Spanish paella a little more and maybe it could of used a little more spices. They gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for our anniversary.
We've been here a couple of times ( not local so try to visit it when we're in town). Ambiance is lovely, dark and moody with options to sit at the bar, a table or outside, music great too. Food is always good, attaching pix of our maki roll, quinoa salad, Amazon fish and lamb dishes. Brought a bottle of Tobin James wine, the corkage was under $30 so reasonable, but I did find it odd that at an establishment of this caliber, the server never refilled our wine glasses... Overall Great date place.
While traveling home, we stopped by to celebrate with a birthday lunch. Although we made reservations, they aren't always necessary for lunch. We were seated right away and were educated on Peruvian cuisine. The choices are extensive, so we elected the popular traditional selections. Beginning with the Inca Gyoza appetizer, the sauce was very appealing. It is a charred Togarashi Pork Gyoza served with Crispy Sweet Potatoes, Green Onions, Mushrooms. The Aji Amarillo Sauce was exquisite. For the Main course, I had the Señor Lomo. The Lomo Saltado is made from the Hearst Ranch Grass-Fed Filet Mignon Strips. There are stir-fried organic tomatoes, Red Onions with Peruvian Spices, Ají Amarillo, Soy Sauce, and Potatoes, served with Peruvian White Rice. The flavor is amazing and highly recommended
Attentive, prompt service with great food. We really enjoyed the ceviche, sashimi and Gyoza. The flavors were well structured, layered and the heat layer at the end was a welcome finish. The paella was too heavy on rice with not enough seafood or caramelization on the bottom of the pan. But overall, a really good meal in a well run restaurant that is worth a visit.
No joke, one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at in my life. Truly, truly phenomenal food with a solid vibe and great service. 🧨🧨🧨🧨 I wouldn’t miss out on the privilege it is to eat here. Every single bite had me in awe.
