Mimi's Kabob - Clarksville

I ate here with a friend unplanned. We went right up to the register and asked a lot of questions- it's not the same kind of Persian Kabobs I'm used to, so I was really hesitant. When I saw their menu, I was already uneasy that they didn't have anything that sounds remotely similar to the other kabobs I've tried. So based on what the very patient and nice woman behind the register explained the menu and what we were looking for, we ordered. Then quickly via this AMAZING machine that I've only seen being used in Japan at the moment, brought our food to us. It was really cool! You'll probably end up taking a picture because we took many to! We started with naan and eggplant ant hummas- omg. AMAZING. I was a little less skeptical. Mimi’s Kabob in Clarksville Small Afghani restaurant located in the small business plaza across from St.Louis’ Catholic Church in Clarksville. Parking is easily available. They are primarily set up for counter-service, halal prepared with down-home Afghan selections plus lunch specials. There are a few tables for indoor dining & some outdoor seating. The scent of delicious food hits you as you enter the establishment. The lamb gyro was generously filled with tender lamb and beef slices with fresh chunks of Feta cheese, veggies and flavorful Tzatziki sauce. The location can be easily missed from the highway but I would gladly return to try out other selections.

I’ve ordered chicken shawarma platter and specifically asked to make chicken well done.unfortunately the chicken wasn’t cooked properly as well as it’s kind of boiled chicken not made on grill. I couldn’t eat any of it and I just ate bread and rice on side.

The food was fantastic and served promptly. I particularly enjoyed the grilled lamb and chicken. The chicken tikka pizza was incredibly delicious, and the kids absolutely loved it. The only thing that could have been improved was the Naans, which could have been improved. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for the whole family.

Mimi’s Kabob in Clarksville is an unbelievable restaurant. The food is always flavorful and cooked really well. We especially like the tandoori chicken — it’s seasoned perfectly and tastes amazing every time. They also have so many options on the menu that it can almost feel overwhelming at first because there’s just so much to choose from. But that also means there’s something for everyone. The chicken tenders are surprisingly amazing too, which makes it a great place whether you want traditional kabobs or something more simple. Everything we’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. This is our favorite local restaurant in the Baltimore area, and we plan to come here every time we can. Highly recommend!
