The Great Sage in Clarksville, MD is the kind of vegan restaurant that deserves national recognition-not only for its incredible food, but for the exceptional service that makes the entire experience unforgettable. First and foremost, Vic, our server, was absolutely outstanding. Vic was attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. The pacing was perfect, the recommendations were spot-on, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. Vic is the quintessential kind of server who elevates a meal into a memorable dining experience and is a huge reason we'll be returning. Vic please keep up the great work. Food & service was really good. Brussels were probably the best I’ve ever had. Crab cakes are delish. Mac and cheese was so yummy. I can’t wait to go back and try more things. Live music night was a good vibe.

My recent experience with a carry-out order from Great Sage was profoundly disappointing and a stark contrast to the positive visits I recall from the past. What was intended as a satisfying meal to support a beloved establishment turned into an expensive letdown, especially considering the effort and expense involved—a 45-minute rush hour drive that, combined with the meal's cost, puts the total investment close to $100. In this current economy, such a poor value proposition is simply unacceptable. The fundamental issue is the severe mismatch between pricing and portion size/quality. For a total of $70 for the food, the portions were shockingly meager: * Crab Cakes: These were laughably small. Each one was barely half the size of my palm and did not even fill the standard small side-item

Jessica rocks! Exceptional table service even when the crowd was coming in. Cuisine delish at fair price points. Prepared at the scale of Kennedy's establishments. Worth the drive even if at a distance though voice calls need to be pickup and answered which tends to be a problem with many restaurants on the vegan side.

Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere! I love that everything is vegan so ordering is super easy! The CBD Mellow Matcha was super creamy and had a smooth matcha taste. The bbq bacon burger was insanely delicious and I’ll definitely be back for it!! For a sweet treat we went with the chocolate lava cake with a scoop of coconut ice cream on top and wow was it good!! One of the best meals I’ve had!
