Maiwand Kabob

I enjoy kabobs and order from several places. I have been to three Maiwand locations, and they offer a consistent delicious meal every time. My favorite location is the one in/near Lanham. The service is great, and they have a rewards program. I like the chicken kabob meal, and the Chicken Tikka Kabob. They make a seasoned rice with raisins, but you can ask them to hold the raisins like I do, or request plain rice if that’s your preference. The bread is homemade and a generous size and the chicken is seasoned to perfection. Definitely superior to the store bought pita offered at other kabob establishments. I always get take out, but their establishments are all very clean! Give them a try, and you won’t regret it.

This is my first time here as I’m passing through. I went to the Shrine of St. Anthony. Which is an excellent place to attend. The food here was fantastic. I ordered the lamb kebabs and my family ordered the lamb & beef. Between the two the lamb is the better option. The rice was fantastic with the grapes it really set it off. Everything was great; however the place lacked cleanliness even though it’s new.

Maiwand Kabob was an amazing choice for an after church lunch for our party of 17. The staff was incredibly helpful and generous. The food was hot and delicious. There was plenty of room to share tables. Lots of choices for adults and kids.

First time here! Absolutely loved it. The food is delicious. I really loved the potatoes!!!!

This place is very good. I love the choices and the food is very flavorful. The dining area is clean and well appointed. I've only gone this 4 stars because the cost is a bit too high. $45 for two to have lunch is a bit expensive, I think. Possibly they have lunch specials that I missed.
