Milton DPW

While visiting a relative on Sheldon St, I witnessed a dump truck full of asphalt fill a wheelbarrow off a flat bed truck. The roller machine unloaded off the flat bed and briefly rolled over the pitiful excuse of the filling of some pot holes. That took all of 15 minutes. What a lame effort. As they reloaded to leave, I pointed out potholes they missed. The worker said they hadn't noticed them, maybe next time, as they do this frequently. I inquired when this street is scheduled for paving as it's been years and is a shambles. He said it's not scheduled and to complain as "THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GETS THE OIL". These half hearted workers make me glad I don't live in the highly taxed community of Milton.

It takes a minute to return a phone call or email YET no one at Milton DPW can be bothered to do so. Disgraceful but what can you expect from the Town of Milton that hasn't bothered to fix crumbling sidewalks from 1662. And then charges 3$ for trash pickup. Absolutely ridiculous.

To Sam Shaffer. Problem at 322center st i had My Walk all shovelied out front ànd the truck came down thru and pushed it all back shut worse than the snow fall was maybe your trucks could slow down a bit this is rediculous thank you Tim young

Came out and cleared some glass and debris from a motor vehicle fire near our bus stop right away. Thank you

The DPW is always very responsive to requests to fill potholes; do contact them as they simply cannot be aware of everything. Thanks!
