Milano Restaurant

Went to Milano as a last resort for Valentine’s dinner and boy was that a mistake. Initially, it looked nice had a nice ambiance an we were seated right away. We order some alcoholic beverages and those came right up. Otherwise the appetizers that we ordered took quite some time. We ordered their rice balls and the bruschetta. Both were mediocre, as the rice balls were a bit bland and the balsamic glaze gave the bruschetta some life because otherwise it would be forgettable. For the main entree my wife ordered their chicken parm and I ordered the Ribeye Steak with balsamic glazed carrots. Needless to say the chicken parm was subpar (more so the pasta and sauce) as the chicken tasted alright. We were passing through Utica for 1 night and popped in here for a quick dinner before a show at the Stanley Theatre. We were sat in the bar table area which was nice and clean - the bartenders/waitresses were very friendly all evening. We ordered the 8oz filet and a 10 or 12 oz ribeye, food took about 40 minutes to come out and we never received our appetizer (which they removed from the bill at the end once notified so that's fine). What REALLY got me was the menu prices listed our entrees as $42 and $43 - when I received my bill the steaks were listed as $54 and $55 MORE than a TEN dollar difference on each item! I took the receipt up to the bar, alerted her that our $12 appetizer never came, then I requested a menu and showed the waitress the price discrepancy between the menu & the b

Great ambiance and the drinks are amazing. The hospitality was amazing as well and the owner was very nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back 💖! The chicken riggies were 10/10.

This restaurant is a wonderful gem. The quality of the meals was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect, cozy, great modern chic decor, and not crowded. The service was attentive and very pleasant. Overall, the value was top tier. We will be spreading the word of how wonderful Milano is, and we will be back! Definitely recommend!

The best Filet Mignon and Ribeye Steaks (both cooked to rare but crusty perfection, and a tasty Gorgonzola) we have ever had in our life!!! Extremely delicious and great price (I think it was $42 for an 8 ounce Filet, and $43 for a 12 ounce Ribeye). Their scallop special over risotto was tasty too! Bread was yummy- Crusty, warm, and the drizzled garlic parsley butter was a nice touch. This place is a gem. It honestly lacked for nothing… Style, elegance, immaculately clean, and superb food make this place my new favorite. I live in Rochester, which means two hours to drive but worth it. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants. Owner was a gracious host, and his team outstanding with impeccable customer service start to finish. Will definitely be back!!!
