MIKE & MARIO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT

As soon as we walked in I got the family owned and operated vibe. Walked up to order and a handsome little helper with I'm guessingy may be an owner helped key in my order on the register. After a few minutes we were served a very tasty order of garlic knots, followed by my order of chicken parm, wife got the cheese steak with fries. We were completely happy with what we ordered and had plenty to take back to our hotel for the late nite cravings. So nice to see that it appears to me they plan on keeping the restaurant in the family, cause on our way out, the little man that type my order into the register was in the dining area cleaning the empty tables! Pray this happens. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Highly recommend this restaurant (so little man can run it one day)

This is one of my favorite Italian Restaurants. It looks like a Diner, but don't let the appearance fool you. The Seafood Alfredo with Oysters, Scallops, and shrimp is actually the best I've ever had. Traditional, Authentic Italian Food.

I was passing through and found this restaurant. 15 mins outside of Verona Va. well worth the few miles of driving to the next town. Family run it seems, and dishes homemade. Very delicious. Had eggplant parmigiana over fettuccine. Right amount of seasoning, Roma tomatoes and sweetness. Owners definitely put their investment in the food. As it should be. Restaurant is basic and cozy. Not fancy, but all one needs. I left very happy. Thank you Mike and Marie!

The atmosphere feels like a genuine family-run place, simple and welcoming without trying to be fancy, and clearly cared for by the people who run it. It has that familiar, no-frills charm where you immediately feel comfortable sitting down for a good meal. You order and pay at the counter when you walk in, then grab a seat wherever you like. They keep pitchers of tea on ice up front and have a soda fountain off to the side, so drinks and refills are self-serve, with the staff bringing the food out once it’s ready. My party ordered two Stromboli's, one traditional and one lasagna style. Both were absolutely delicious. The food did take a little while to come out, but given that the lasagna Stromboli probably takes more prep than the usual options, I wouldn’t assume that’s the norm. Eithe

We had a great experience, the food was so good, fresh and hot,
