We went here every single day in the 4 days that we visited Staunton. There's snow outside but their gelato is good so, here we are. All the flavors were good. I remember the coffee toffee and espresso, the apple pie, peppermint, maple walnut... Also they served hot choco which was perfect for the snowy week They're also open until 10pm which is great for when you want some dessert after dinner

Absolutely love this place. The staff are always kind and very willing to have you try before you pick. The sundaes are great. They make their own ice creams, they always have an oat milk and sorbet offerings. The only thing I can say against them is that they don't have the black forest ice cream on their lineup nearly enough! 😁 It's our favorite but there are many flavors and they're all made very well. You have to go pretty often to make sure you get to try all the different flavors as they rotate. If you love ice cream, you just have to go.

Love the large variety of homemade gelato. The workers are knowledgeable about the products. Great price for ice cream. We now live farther away from Staunton and miss it so much, but whenever we’re back in town, a visit to The Split Banana is absolutely non-negotiable.
