Customer Reviews
Overcooked pasta, and the “free” tiramisu they offered right away was frozen and stale. Honestly, it felt like we were being served dog food. We ordered two pasta dishes. Both were terrible-the pasta was badly overcooked, mushy, bland, and unpleasant to eat. They offered a complimentary tiramisu right away, but it was awful: partially frozen, and the fruit on the side tasted stale/dried out. That’s not a treat — it’s another red flag. Overall, this felt like low-effort food with zero quality control. At that point it honestly felt like we were being served dog food, not food for paying customers. I do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else.
GLUTEN SENSITIVE PEOPLE TAKE NOTE: this restaurant uses 00 Neapolitan flour authentic from Italy (we asked the owner). I have celiac friends who have gone to Europe and been able to consume breads made with Italian flour. We are a gluten sensitive family and were able to consume this crust and it was delicious!! They also offer a homemade gluten free crust which we intended to order but changed our minds once we learned they used Italian flour! Definitely a fabulous option for Celiac and gluten sensitive people. (Do your own research on Italian flour first.)
The double pepperoni pizza was delicious, perfectly cooked with great flavor. Customer service was really good too, very friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back.
Nice interior and good pizza dough. Ordering was a little confusing since you can use the counter or the QR code, but after we ordered through the QR, the waitress didn’t check in or even offer water until we asked for plates. The pizzas tasted good overall, but the chicken one was a bit chewy because of the large pieces. Ingredients are simple, nothing special, but the dough itself was tasty.
Absolutely wonderful!!! We can’t out for dinner this evening and everything was fantastic!!! I got “the fig, the pig and the goat” pizza and it was delicious. I also enjoyed the burrata caprese and cheese bread. The service was great and our waitress was lovely. Food came out hot and super fast. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely come back the next time I’m in Monterey!!!
