Merci Beaucoup Restaurant

Great Eatery , very nice Hostesses. My Catfish PoBoy was excellent. Fries were WOW!!! Wife’s salad was Super Fresh and the French bread was fresh out of the over. The Desert is EVIL❤️❤️❤️❤️😎 We did get our car broken into, we parked on CHURCH St…we noticed a couple of “suspicious” Usual Suspects acting weird as we, left our vehicle. It was but because it was such a nice area and so many people around, we didn’t find much of reason to hang around and keep an eye on them so we went on into the restaurant. About one hour later came out, and yeah, they broke into our car and stole my wife’s purse, that was hitting on the floorboard of the car .

This place is across the street from our hotel. However, we waited until the day we were leaving to have lunch here. Wow! Another great restaurant! My wife enjoyed the Meat Pie Plate. I enjoyed the Catfish Beaucoup. It was delicious. For dessert, the "Louisiana Sin Bar" was heavenly or sinfully delicious!! My wife got the "Old Fashioned Bread Pudding," which she enjoyed, and I enjoyed tasting.

Nice hidden gem in Natchitoches with good food, great fast service, and decent prices. The meat pies are delicious, the entrees are delicious, & even the kids meals are good. I also tried the red beans and rice and it was decent, but the cornbread that came with it was absolutely horrible. Still it was a very nice dining experience. Also, the bathrooms are very small so don't expect to go to the restroom as a group.

A local friend recommended this restaurant because of their red beans, sausage and rice and catfish. They did not disappoint. We dined in and had a very friendly server. From the tempting menu we instead chose a tasty crawfish étouffée and meat pie (flaky crust and lots of filling) platter with dirty rice, each served with a fresh side salad, and great tasting iced teas. This was a very good and filling lunch! A bit more costly but definitely worth it! We did ordered the catfish and red beans, sausage and rice with bread pudding to go for our local friend!)

Great restaurant near historic front street in Natchitoches, LA. Staff had a great sense of southern hospitality. This was the first time I’ve ever had a meat pie and it was delicious. We also ordered some mini crawfish meat pies which were great as well. You can substitute the dirty rice for a cup of gumbo!
