I traveled here for business. My room was inviting and comfortable. The house manager is a gem. The gounds were lovely to spend time in. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Easy to get to downtown which has great food.

We went up to Natchitoches with friends for my birthday weekend. My husband and I stayed in the St. Maurice Room, our friends stayed in the Marco Plantation Room and Lands End Room. Three beautiful rooms, but we were able to view all of them and they all have their own charm, comfort and beauty. Susan the Innkeeper is definitely a "keeper"! She dotes on you and is extremely friendly, welcoming and one heck of a cook! We never went away hungry from breakfast and the refreshment room was stocked with lots of goodies. We had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and his Wife and Daughter, again... friendly and welcoming. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed and to be there as part of the Christmas celebration, the house was decorated to the nines! This is definitely a go back to

The house was so incredibly beautiful and clean. There are many, many fun collections all over the house to see. The rooms are comfortable with a private bathrooms for every room. The innkeeper, Susan, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is delightful and so helpful. Her breakfasts are delicious and fun. The inn is located right next to the oldest cemetery in the Louisiana purchase. Very interesting.

The house is very impressive. Decorated for the holidays it is a treat for the senses. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Each room has its own Christmas tree, very festive. Breakfast was quite nice. A fun time to engage in conversation with fellow guests. Our issue was there seems to be closet space. Can't hang up anything, nor any drawers to unpack. There was a hook in the bathroom. No bathrobes are supplied. ||However, I would recommend it. Quite convenient for walking to town. Cemetery entrance is just off the front yard. Interesting to stroll thru with markers that date to the revolutionary war. We traveled there with friends for a two night stay. Took a home tour which was lovely as well as Trinity Episcopal church. A very friendly reception everywhere we went.

Hard to say what was best: perfect rooms, perfect bric-a-brac, perfect Inn Keeper, Susan, who gave us information on the home (my great, great uncle, etc.)a perfect breakfast, and perfect suggestions as to where to go and what to do.
