I drove 2 hours to meet my best friends for dinner and it was absolutely worth it! The food was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our waitress, Carolyn, was incredible. She was attentive, kind, and truly made our night special. Great service makes all the difference, and she nailed it. We’ll definitely be back

I hosted a Galentine’s event for 20 women at Mercato Kitchen in Massapequa Park on February 7th. A $100 deposit was paid in advance, and I was told we would have a semi-private patio space. When we arrived, the space was an unsealed outdoor tent — during freezing, windy conditions. Snow was coming in along the sides, and the heaters (placed high above) did little to warm guests seated below. We were told we could not move inside due to reservations. I will say the penne allá vodka was good, and Pam, our server, was attentive and professional throughout the evening. However, winter in New York is not unexpected. If large parties are being booked in an outdoor space — especially after a week of heavy snow — proper preparation should already be in place. The tent should have been sealed and

Me and my friends hosted a prepaid private Galentine’s event here and were seated on the “covered” patio in 8-degree weather!!! With wind and snow blowing into the space. The patio was tented, not insulated, and despite additional heaters, me and my guests were freezing — coats stayed on, hands hurt, and I could see my breath while talking. The restaurant later stated that colder weather was forecasted and that extra heaters were ordered, which confirms they knew conditions would be extreme!!!!. When we raised concerns, the manager was dismissive and said he “can’t control the weather,” instead of taking responsibility for seating guests outside in unsafe conditions. Knowing this, it’s hard to understand why a private event was still hosted outdoors in February!!!! When we asked to move i

I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend it, especially in the winter. The temperature was –14°, and our group of about 23 people were seated outside on a patio under a tent while it was extremely windy. There was literally snow inside the tent. They refused to let us sit indoors and insisted we stay outside the entire time. There were four heaters placed near the ceiling, which did absolutely nothing since heat rises. We were freezing all night, completely uncomfortable, and it felt unsafe given how cold it was. What made it worse was the lack of concern from the staff. No effort was made to accommodate us or improve the situation until one of my friends finally spoke up. Customers should not have to beg to be treated with basic consideration, especially in extreme weather

We ordered the “Bolognese” which was served on an oversized plate in the middle of which was an equally opposite obnoxiously undersized portion of papparedelle bolognese. It had a nice flavor while it lasted for a few mere seconds, however I left very hungry and felt cheated for $30.95. The plate was so comically oversized I briefly considered licking it for extra calories, but the waiter assured me the ceramic was not gluten-free and carried an upcharge. By the end I was still hungry, slightly poorer, and convinced the chef’s true masterpiece was the void—both on the plate and in my soul. To say I was embarrassed and we were both disappointed is an understatement.
