Menya Musashi Tsukemen & Ramen (Issaquah）

We love this spot! The food is excellent and they have a variety to choose from. It’s very clean, the service is quick and the staff are polite and helpful—plus, it’s a kid-friendly environment with generous portions. Our must-try recommendations: Black Ramen, Okonomi Fries (seriously, don’t skip these), Mentaiko Takoyaki, Fried Shrimp and Orange Chicken.

Went here for Saturday lunch since it just opened near my neighborhood. I was really excited to have a new Japanese ramen spot close by! The place has a great vibe — clean, cozy, and modern. I tried the Original Ramen and the Original Tsukemen. The broth was super thick and rich, and the noodles were nice and chewy. It was definitely different from the lighter, thinner-style ramen I’m used to. Overall, it was an interesting experience, but the flavor was a bit heavy for my taste, so I only ate about half and took the rest home.

When you need a ramen/tsukemen fix, this is the spot! Highly recommend getting the hybrid tsukemen with cold noodles combo with the chicken karaage. Delicious and plenty of food. End it with a taiyaki matcha ice cream and you have a full meal. A+ friendly service as well!

Pretty decent Japanese restaurants offering both ramen and tsukemen (dipping ramen). The decorations are very cool. It has lots of Japanese movie posters about Musashi, famous Japanese samurai. Store is not big. It offers three kinds of seating choice, 4-pol family table, share old long table, or bar style table facing the wall. Ordering is using self service machine, and self - seating. Water is also self service. We ordered both ramen and tsukemen. It comes in about 10 mins at dinner time after ordering. Both are pretty decent. My tsukemen is in good portion, thick noodle. The dipping sauce is pork broth based, with both pork and bamboo shot slice inside. Taste is savy and porky. Good for dipping sauce but too salty to drink. Mostly self service, but I appreciate that. I ordered black tsukemen with cold noodles and my partner got original with hot noodles. We both noticed no real difference between hot and cold, so I'd probably do hot so I don't have to worry about cooling down the soup/broth. I prefer the original, the black would be great for a garlic lover. I used to live in LA near Sawtelle and had tsukemen from Tsujita all the time. I think I still slightly prefer Tsujita, will need to get an original for myself instead of taking bites from my partner. This hits the spot so well that I don't see myself stopping by Tsujita next time I'm in LA. I'd rather use that meal on something more exclusive. Oh and the pork piece that came with it is a little too tough for my liking.
