Customer Reviews
his place feels like stepping into another world. The warm light, the earthy walls, the quiet calm in the air — everything invites you to slow down. It’s the kind of atmosphere that comforts you before the food even arrives. And when it does, the plates are as beautiful as they are delicious — full of color, flavor, and care. Diyar Restaurant in Issaquah, was such a pleasant surprise for us!
We had a great experience at this restaurant. Everything was excellent. The place was very clean, stylish, and modern. The service was outstanding and the staff were very friendly and professional. The food was high quality and tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great restaurant.
Excellent food and atmosphere. We enjoyed the koobideh, barg and cornish hen kabobs.
Wanted to love it, but unfortunately the food just wasn’t that great. Especially for the high prices. My husband enjoyed his chicken kabob and the falafels were okay. I think the biggest disappointments for us were the rice and hummus as both were pretty bland. The “saffron” rice is just plain white rice with the tiniest drizzle of saffron oil on top. I expected it to be really flavorful and aromatic but it really is just plain white rice with no flavor at all. The service was quick and the restaurant was very clean but unfortunately the food just wasn’t good enough to make us want to be repeat customers.
Food was the best Persian food I’ve tried in Washington, very juicey cuts of meat lots of flavor. The mirza ghasemi was delicious as well definitely recommend as a appetizer. The interior is beautiful I feel like I’m in Iran.
