We visited for coffee and pastries. The café has a nice vibe, with both indoor and outdoor seating available, though we chose to sit inside because it was raining. They offer a good variety of options on the menu. We ordered baklava, San Sebastian cheesecake, and a Turkish latte. The baklava was fresh and flavorful. The cheesecake was decent, though a bit too rich and heavy for my taste. I wouldn’t recommend the Turkish latte, as the flavor wasn’t enjoyable. You might be better off ordering milk tea instead. The prices were slightly on the higher side. Overall, I’d describe the quality and service as average.
I’ve wanted to try a traditional Turkish breakfast for a long time, and this place delivered! The breakfast platter is huge and perfect for sharing, with a great variety of flavors. They also serve excellent coffee and tea. Very cozy atmosphere and delicious baked goods. A wonderful spot for brunch or lunch.
I absolutely loved my visit to Berna’s Bakery & Cafe! It is such a gem in Issaquah. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but the real highlight was how fresh the food is. Specifically, the bread was outstanding—you can really taste the quality. The breakfast was balanced, fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried three egg dishes and the braised meat and eggs were out of this world. It’s rare to find a place that hits the mark on hospitality and such fresh ingredients. I can’t wait to return!"
First of all, the Turkish coffee is a must-try — it’s not something everyone has experienced, and it’s truly special ☕️ The lentil soup is amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Turkish delights are delicious and beautifully presented — they really catch your eye. The Turkish breakfast is just as impressive: rich, satisfying, and it makes you want to try everything on the table. The tea is always hot and fresh 🍵 Every visit feels exciting, and we already look forward to coming back again. Highly recommended ❤️
Amazing authentic Turkish food and desserts! The staff are super friendly and the service is great (the plates are especially cute, too). tried the traditional Turkish breakfast (serpme) and it was incredible. My favorite was the menemen (omelette), but everything else was delicious as well. The only downside is that the portion size for the serpme (the traditional Turkish breakfast) didn’t quite feel like it justified the price, but it still wasn't too bad overall. If you go, I highly suggest the cheesecake. It comes with melted chocolate that you pour over the top—it tastes amazing!
