Mel's Downtown Creamery

This was an awesome spot to stop for ice cream. Took a couple mins to get your order in but it was definitely worth the wait! Forgot to take pics of the ice cream, probably based on it not lasting very long (too good). Table Talk jars with prompts for conversation were a super cool feature. Great spot if you're in the area!

I went on an ice cream date with my best friend and my niece. It was perfect. Large selection of ice cream treats and some candy too! The server was friendly. I got Ice Cream Nachos. Which is soft service ice cream, one sundae topping and one candy topping, served with cone "chips". It was perfect for one person or could be shared. Cute "50's Diner vibes. Plenty of seating. Parking out front and around the back of the building.

Fun old fashioned ice cream shop with great decor and delicious ice cream. They have a good variety of flavors, including special flavors and Hawaiian shaved ice as well. The shop had great ambiance and even had a dj playing music for entertainment.

This is a cute 50s theme ice cream shoppe that also has shaved ice (although I’ve never had it here). Staff is friendly and they have a good variety of flavors for ice cream and also have the typical soft ice cream too! They make a variety of different ice cream dishes and you can certainly find something you will like! The 4 stars is based on the large variety they offer and they have great sundaes too! The ice cream in my opinion is good but nothing out of the ordinary. It’s not home made. Overall, when we are in the area we will grab ice cream here and it’s open year round!

The atmosphere was great but the ice cream was just okay. It almost tasted watered down and not that creamy. We went close to closing so I’m not sure if that played a factor but it was hot inside and smelled a little funky (maybe from the crowds before us?)
