This is an outstanding coffee place! A rare experience where the owner knows his customers' usual orders, chats with everyone, and occasionally sings with the music. Food is delicious and there's beautiful art on the walls. Highly recommend it if you'd like to have a quick break from the anonymity of NYC's life. Food is delicious: avocado sandwich on a pita!

I do not go out much these days, but when I do, it is to support my people. Mellow Yellow, owned and run by the most loving Israeli, Kobi, is an absolute hidden gem on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Each visit delivers delectable culinary delights, perfectly paired with Israeli songs sung by Kobi himself. I cannot recommend this place enough—truly unforgettable! Am Yisrael Chai! The Nation of Israel Lives! 🇮🇱

Delicious food and super friendly service! The hummus tahini plate and shakshuka plate are really tasty. Really liked the green machine smoothie as well. The service is super nice and there is a welcoming atmosphere. There are tables inside and a bench outside. Would highly recommend!

Such a gem in the Upper East Side! This cozy little spot is a total hidden treasure. The hummus is honestly better than what I had in the Middle East — so fresh and flavorful! Super vegan-friendly with amazing pastries, plant-based meals, and delicious drinks. 💚 The lemonana is a must-try (so refreshing!), and the coffee is some of the best in the city — smooth, bold, and high quality. What really makes this place special is the staff. Kobi and Nechama are incredible — so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their motto is “coffee and vibes,” and they really deliver on both. Highly recommend stopping by — you’ll definitely want to come back! Thank you guys! ❤️

I was just looking for a cafe where I could read my book for 2 hours with a hot cup of tea and happened upon MY. What a joyful discovery! The workers are tremendously welcoming and kind and the atmosphere was utterly delightful! The music is fun, the space is comfortable and the food looks delicious. I wish this was my neighborhood cafe! The service reminded me of old school caring welcoming treatment one gets overseas in a small quaint Portuguese village or a cafe in the south of France during their off-season. Just the nicest people 💜
