Mediterranean Kitchen Burlingame

We had the most amazing dining experience here. The food was quick to arrive at the table. Everything tasted wonderful, we had the chicken soup, babaganoush, chicken souvlaki, seafood platter. Fresh, delicious. Didn’t get many pictures of food because we ate that up! I went to catch up with a girl friend and we totally overstayed for a few hours. The servers were so nice to give us dessert and tea. Thank you for the warm welcome, we’ll be back!

Chicken souvlaki is surprisingly really tender for chicken breast meat. Get that above all else. Also, I think the classic hummus is better than the harissa hummus. The combo plate was a good value, but wasn’t overly impressed by the gyro meat.

A walk up and order spot where the servers are very friendly and prompt. It was rather cold in the seating area with no heat. Everyone had their jackets on. Unfortunately the food disappointed. We had a lamb beef gyro wrap, falafel wrap and fries. The wrap were very dry like cardboard and an over abundance of them. The falafel itself was moist and tasty and gyro meat was decent. Fries were hot but flavorless and no salt -- but so hard when we added salt it didn't stick. Wish we could've had a more fulfilling meal since we really do like Mediterranean food.

From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I felt a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is elegant and relaxing, making it an ideal place both for enjoying a nice meal with friends and for celebrating special occasions. The food truly exceeded my expectations; both the presentation and the flavors were excellent.
