Best wings in town. Period. Second time here in a couple of weeks and have to say better than the last time which I didn't think was possible. We've tried one or two other dishes all good. But if you are a wing person, this is your place. Sienna has been our server twice and she was on point. Is it a bit loud, yes. But it's a neighborhood place were people come to mingle and they know each other. It's a great vibe for that local feel.
We hadn't been back to the restaurant since before COVID, and we were very impressed by the major upgrades. It was great to see that the main chef is still there, which is perfect. Jeremy, the manager, was excellent and even offered a complimentary dessert for our children. The food was delicious; the clam chowder, in particular, was absolutely outstanding. My family will definitely be returning."
I’ve lived the the area for like 3yrs and never been here until recently. I don’t know why I didn’t come by sooner. First visit I had the chicken tenders and they were good. The breading stayed on and had a good crunch to it. The chicken wasn’t dried. The second visit I tried the clam chowder and the Cajun shrimp scampi pasta. That was a great dish. The shrimp was well seasoned and grilled. The sauce was good but might have had a bit too much lemon. The clam chowder was good especially since it was cold outside. There are so many other items off their menu that I would like to try. My waiter Steve on the second visit was super cool and attentive.
We came for a chill date night and were blown away. The portions were generous (so we ended up with leftovers) and everything was delicious. Service was great, the tvs were all labeled with which sporting event was being shown, and the drinks were strong. They also had great mocktails.
What happened to our McKennas Place?! Sat down for 35 min and was never asked my family’s drink orders. Servers passed our table 5 times to cater surrounding tables while neglecting ours. The manager took no responsibility and used their “brunch session” and “poor scheduling for help” as the excuse for poor service, followed by “it’s not an excuse”. When the manager was informed she still failed to ask us what they could do to make it a more enjoyable experience. Instead I was met with an unwelcome hug. With that my family and I ordered “to go” instead of in-house. Our home being a 3-5 minute drive, everything was soggy, and in no comparison to what we were used to. Overall we were not compensated at all for any mistakes and just simply dismissed. I don’t believe this place will stay aliv
