Nessa's Kitchen PBC

I don't leave that many food reviews, but I have to leave one here. First of all, and most importantly, the food is delicious. I came late on a Thursday night, and the food was still so fresh. Secondly, the owner Nessa is so friendly, helpful and absolutely gorgeous. I ordered the full fried fish, and I saw other reviews mention the Lalo, so I tried that too, and it was perfect! I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. Merci Nessa, a bientot!

Charge $8 just for dough and a little bit of chicken pate was pretty much empty will stick with the Haitian restaurants I know disrespectful for this pate!

I ordered diri djonjon (mushroom rice) and I received diri ak pwa nwa (rice with black beans). I wish they could have called me and told me they didn't have it instead of giving me the wrong food. Food was not tasty. Rice had no flavor. Macaroni gratiné (mac and cheese lacked flavor , no sauce bechamel . I know because of the texture. They need to do better for the price. I ordered lalo today and it was very authentic. It was very good. I wish they gave more lalo.

I’m actually really disappointed with the food here. It was my first visit and it’s obviously really hyped up with reviews and on tiktok but unfortunately doesn’t live up to the hype. Now they could’ve had a bad day but when you are charging what they charge $53 bucks for 2 plates and a side, we really expect more. Now the food was not bad, but not great. Just okay. I had a few bites of each thing and never went back to it. I don’t think I’ll risk trying it again at those prices. (Which I’m happy to pay for good food anytime) I only have a pic of the mac & cheese
