MayRee Thai Kitchen has been selected for the Michelin Guide three years in a row, and it truly deserves it. We loved the hed tod (fried seafood mushrooms) — crispy and delicious. The bacon hor ham was huge and customizable with chili, onions, and peanuts. The grilled shrimp mango salad was super refreshing with large shrimp and fresh mango. For mains, the kee mao talay (seafood drunken noodles) was mildly spicy and loaded with mussels, squid, and shrimp. The kra prow (ground pork) was so flavorful and addictive — perfect with rice. Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee are both great choices. The coconut ice cream, served in a heart-shaped coconut shell, was rich and fragrant. Beautiful ambiance and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

Finally visited this Michelin-recommended Thai spot after having it saved for over a year — totally worth the drive. Small, cozy, great prices, and every dish we ordered was excellent. About $50 per person after tax and we were stuffed. Top picks: 🔥 Keang Phed Ped — fragrant roasted duck with rich but not heavy curry, plus lychee, pineapple, and tomato. 🔥 Mee Kaeng — thin noodles with a generous portion that soak up the curry perfectly. 🔥 Mango Sticky Rice — not on the menu, but they have it; even my non-dessert friend loved it. Highly recommended!

MayRee is hands down one of my favorite Thai restaurants in NYC. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is just as good—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their Pad Thai is perfectly balanced and full of flavor, and the Pad Krapow Moo is a must-order—rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. You can really tell they care about authenticity and quality in every dish. What really sets MayRee apart is the atmosphere and drinks. They have beautiful Thai culture–inspired cocktails that are creative, well-crafted, and fun without being gimmicky. It’s the kind of place that feels special but still relaxed. This is 100% a restaurant I’d bring friends to—whether it’s their first time trying Thai food or they already love it. Consistently great food, great vibes, and a spot I

Mayree totally lives up to the Michelin Guide (2023–2025). One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in NYC. The curry was rich and flavorful with a nice balance of sweetness and spice. The soup pot was bold and comforting, with super fresh seafood. The Thai basil pork with fried egg over rice was simple but done perfectly — mixing the yolk into the rice was so satisfying. Cozy, intimate vibe and friendly service. Best part? It’s actually affordable — around $30–50 per person, which feels like a great deal for this level of quality in Manhattan. Definitely coming back.

I had dinner at May Ree and absolutely loved it! The restaurant has such a chic, upscale vibe — dim lighting, gold details, and a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for photos. 📸 The food was amazing! The Tom Yum Goong was flavorful and spicy in the best way, and the Goong Chae Nam Pla (raw shrimp) was super fresh with a perfect kick. The Seafood Kee Mao and Pla Loui Suan were both full of rich, bold Thai flavors — definitely on the spicy side, but totally worth it 🔥 Service was friendly and fast, and the presentation of every dish looked beautiful. Highly recommend this spot if you love authentic, spicy Thai food in a stylish setting! 🌶️💛
